During the recording of
the CD we decided that we would do a re-union tour to support the albums with the
recording line up. At the tail end of February Alvin and Charlie arrived back in San
Francisco for rehearsals. They were both sick with the flu. We rehearsed mostly new
material for a few days before our first show in Bakersfield CA. The set we decided on was
as follows, but changed somewhat during the course of the tour:

After looking into truck rentals prices I decided
to buy a tour bus and sell it after the tour. Samiam on hiatus, decided to get rid of the
bus they had used for a number of years touring the US and Canada. Already customized for
bands, the 24 foot long airport shuttle had five bunk beds, TV and VCR and cargo area at
the back. It was also a full height vehicle so during the longer drives you could get up
and stretch your legs.I asks Pittsburgh’s “Anti-Flag” to open on the tour
to help ensure better attendance as their album “Die For The Government” was
starting to sell very well. Anti-Flag were all ready on tour and showed up at my house in
San Francisco with van troubles.
