 01. A Massive Return 02. Set List
|
Woke up to a trillion degree temperature in the Shuttle around 9.00 am went up to the hotel room and took a shower. Dave and Drew did the drive to Washington D.C., but first we made a detour to pick up our potential bass player. On arriving at the agreed upon location we found her waiting with her chain smoking mother who thought we would be a bad influence on her daughter. Needless to say the young lady was very upset when her mother told us her daughter couldn’t go. After telling her mother that at least we weren’t addicted to cigarettes, we were on our way without the girl. At soundcheck we tried Carly out on bass with a view to her finishing the tour for us and Chris’ (Anti-Flags 2nd guitarist), girlfriend would come on the road and take over merchandise. Around 500 people showed up. Anti-Flag went on first and did a great show, Justin broke a string and finished the set with my guitar. The “Suspects” went on next they were good. We did a fair set - went down well and got away at 3.00 am. I slept in the Shuttle outside the hotel in a bad neighborhood. |
