 01. A Massive Return 02. Set List

I woke up at 9.00 am
and took a shower meanwhile our host, a slim woman with ash blond hair, who was in the
next room, offered to wash my laundry. While the laundry was washing I gave her a massage
and ended up in bed with her. In the afternoon, again I went to get the gear fixed again
at the local music store. Charlie turned up at the store later with my new friend who had
bought me middle eastern food. That was very thoughtful. We left for Newark late
afternoon. The club was in a pretty bad part of town. During soundcheck my gear performed
much better. In the dressing room Jamie and Carly set me up with a friend of theirs who was a cute Italian looking brunette, in her early twenties and a lot of fun; and she showed interest in performing strange acts with me in the dressing room. There were three opening bands, the best being the amazing “Dehumanized.” I offered them a record deal right there and then and told them I would contact them when I got back to the office. I missed Anti-Flag because I disappeared into the dressing room with my new friend. My guitar sound was much better. The biggest problem now is Alvin. He has to leave the tour and return to the UK after the second New York show. Neither of the former UK Subs bass players living in the US (Flea and Gregor), could replace him. Charlie had found a young hispanic girl who was a bass player and said she could do it. We drove to a motel and told the girl we would pick her up tomorrow. There was only one room available. Dave and Alvin took it. The rest of us crashed in the Shuttle at 3.00 am |
