The show in Allentown was a huge concert. It seemed that half the people there claimed to have been at our show in Bethlehem PA with “Teenage Jesus and the Jerks” in 1979. Most of them were in their late thirties the rest were kids. My gear cut out on the first song and sounded like crap the whole night. Despite that the show was still great. A few women who saw us on the 1979 tour came into the dressing room and offered Charlie a place to stay. I took Dave & Alvin back to the hotel where the women called and invited me over. I spent the night in their spare room while Charlie slept downstairs.
