Made carrot juice and drove to meet the new roadie “Drew” at the airport. After trying to connect with him for a couple of hours we finally picked him up at 2.30 pm and left for Miami. The last few days the temperature has steadily climbed and was now in the 90’s. We got to the club around an hour late. The cops were buzzing around because a car had been broken into right outside but already we knew it was going to be a good show.

The club filled up quickly and ended up absolutely packed. A ska band opened and they really got the crowd warmed up and by the time Anti-Flag and the UK Subs it was like a sauna. After a great show we actually doubled our guarantee making it one of the best shows so far. We got away at 3.00 am and stopped at the entrance to Alligator Alley, (The pass through the Everglades), at a Waffle house and slept in the Shuttle in the car park. Drew was working out great. What a difference to Kevin.
