Woke up at 9.00 am,
it’s 1,000,000 degrees in here. The van batteries are dead because I left the keys
turned on in the ignition, but I got a jump start from a guy in the hotel. Went out to
look for a music store to repair my amps but had to off load all the gear, that sucked.
They stripped the guitars and amps down. (They changed the valves, mended the jack sockets
and stripped the guitars down. Got away at 3.30 pm and picked up the band. Dave drove. The Cow Haus in Tallahassee was at the end of an avenue and was an ok place, but in this college town with exams a week away, the attendance was bad - maybe 100 people. Anti-Flag played a great set, their sound was again better. By the time we played at 1.00 am the crowd was even smaller. We had fun playing “Party In Paris” which I hadn’t played for 14 years and then we made up a song on the spot. I’m still not happy with my sound, something is still missing. After loading the shuttle I took the wheel and drove towards Orlando until 5.00am when we pulled into a rest stop and slept until 9.00am.
